San Antonio Dance Festival
Mission Statement
The 2026 San Antonio Dance Festival is a two-day celebration featuring two unique evenings of performances:
The Spotlight (Friday) features soloists, duos, and selected group works, highlighting emerging talent, schools, and independent artists who represent the next generation of performers and creators.
The Collective (Saturday) is a marquee evening featuring invited professional guest artists and curated group works selected from festival submissions—a celebration of unity, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
Join us as we bring the community together to celebrate dance in all its forms!

Aiden Moss – Ballet San Antonio
Aiden began dancing at age 5 in Johnston, Iowa, and trained under Serkan Hasanusta, Lori Grooters, Alexei Kremnev, and Anna Reznik at A&A Ballet in Chicago. He joined Ballet San Antonio for the 2022–2023 season and was promoted to Soloist by Sofiane Sylve following the 2024–2025 season.
He has received scholarships from A&A Ballet, Star Power Dance Company, Gulfshore Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet, and has performed in productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Rhapsody in Blue, as well as Romeo and Juliet with Opera San Antonio. Aiden has earned top placements at YAGP and WBAC competitions. Passionate about teaching and artistry, he aspires to continue performing and one day become an artistic director.
Brielle Tripke – Ballet Texas
Brielle Tripke trained with Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik at A&A Ballet in Chicago, performing in classical and neoclassical works including The Art Deco Nutcracker and Swan Lake. She also taught and helped direct the children’s division, choreographing and setting original pieces. Brielle went on to become a Trainee with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, where she studied company repertoire such as Rasa, while also choreographing original works on fellow Trainees. She worked with renowned choreographers including Natasha Adorlee and Gregory Dawson, and has also trained in summer intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Master Ballet Academy. Brielle joined Ballet Texas in 2025.
Madison Leistra – Jazz
Madison Leistra is a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer based in Boerne and San Antonio, Texas. With over 15 years of dance training and 10 years of gymnastics and tumbling experience, she specializes in dance, acro, and technique instruction for dancers of all ages and levels.
Madison performed for three seasons as a member of the San Antonio Spurs Hype Squad, dancing professionally at NBA games and international events in Mexico City, Paris, and Monterrey, where she was awarded Veteran of the Year. Her performance credits also include the 2023 XFL Championship Playoffs and dancing for French artist Dadju at NBA Paris Jam. Madison currently serves as Dance Faculty at En Beat Dance Texas while continuing to choreograph and teach throughout the San Antonio area.

REPERTORY & CHOREOGRAPHY GUIDELINES
We invite participants to present their best work — whether it is a classical ballet variation, a contemporary piece, or choreography in any other dance genre. Our goal is to showcase high-quality repertory and promote the creation of original choreography that celebrates artistry, creativity, and technical excellence.
Please note that certain genres, such as tap, folkloric dance, or flamenco, may require a portable tap board. If your piece involves special flooring needs or unique technical requirements, we kindly ask that you contact us prior to registering to ensure proper arrangements.
Time Limits:
Solo: two minutes
Duo/Trio: three minutes
Small Group (four to eight dancers): four minutes
Large Group (nine or more dancers): six minutes
Registration/Administrative Fees*
- $100 per dancer (Ages 6 Through 17) — Includes for each dancer:
- Entrance to The Spotlight
- Entrance to The Collective
- Festival T-shirt
- Workshop that includes three master classes (times to be announced)
- $35 per dancer – Adult Independent Participants (Ages 18 and up) — Includes for each dancer:
- Entrance to The Spotlight
- Entrance to The Collective
Entry Fees*:
- Solo: $65
- Duo/Trio: $50 per dancer
- Small Group (4 -8 dancers): $35 per dancer
- Large Group (9+ dancers): $25 per dancer
